Excelsior Engine Co, Pearl River Fire Department665 views1976 FWD/Seagrave High Pressure Pumper: Scratchbuilt cab and body of a prototype pumper that was in service until about 2005. The model features many scratchbuilt accessories to replicate the prototype. I do recall that the hose bed and the coats/boot/helmets were a real pain to get done. The "12-HP" is their designation for this unit, 12 being their dept number and HP representing a high pressure pump. This was my first attempt at a totally scratchbuilt cab, I recall it was around 1984.

FDNY Seagrave Squad608 viewsThis was my first ever resin model so there was a learning curve. I got the squad from ssb and was very pleased with the product in raw form and the end result. I added scratch built scottpacks, streamlights and their chargers. I modified the pump panel with the appropriate valve pulls.

American LaFrance 1000 series pumper429 viewsThis was my first firetruck model that I have ever made. This kit was a pain in my backside. After completing the trumpeter one a couple of weeks later. I really really dislike the amt kit.
